Comma software with three years support and web hosting. The Comma
software can be bought separately for £304 with three months
support. Web hosting then costs an additional £300 per year.

Training
The Comma software is very easy to use. It comes with a training
manual, help files, and on screen tutorials. If required, Commanet
can provide a trainer at a cost of £200 per day plus expenses.
There is an Open College Network accredited training unit in the
use of community archives.

Publishing
It is essential to establish ownership of the copyright in the content
of an archive. Every donor to an archive assigns the digital publishing
rights in their records to the group. Donors only need to sign a
single Copyright Release Form to cover all their records.

CD-Rom
The software includes the the ability to make the files for a fully
re-distributable CD-ROM. Groups can make their own copies or Commanet
can arrange bulk copying with printed sleeves. Not for profit groups
can sell copies of their CD, as long as the proceeds are for the
benefit of the group.
Internet
The Commanet web hosting service enables archives to be published
on this website. Community groups can link to their archive from
their local website.
