Wessex Fly Fishing enjoys a picturesque setting in the lush water meadows of the River Piddle. Comfortable accommodation (B&B and self catering), clear water lakes and streams on site; further beats on Rivers Piddle and Frome for chalkstream Trout. Our catch and release river fishing for wild brown trout is a particular feature. Indeed the Game Conservancy use our river beats for their well known habitat enhancement research work. Guided days available on request. Lake and river tuition from fully qualified, highly experienced instructors: all aspects of fly fishing and fly casting taught, including Spey casting and Salt water techniques. Prepare for that expensive trip, brush up on technique, or make the first steps in a new and fascinating sport. Tackle can be provided if required. Come and stay with us for a few days and fish somewhere different every day! Plenty for non-fishing companions to do and see throughout beautiful Dorset. Delightful cottage on the famous East Lyn at Brendon amidst glorious Exmoor scenery is also available. |
